On Friday, August 28, 2020, Catherine Khiangte from Mizoram & Jim Ankan Deka from Assam are going live from the OK North East Page on Facebook. They are calling it a classic & rock n' roll night. From CCR to Lynyrd Skynyrd to Don Williams to Beatles, the duo will be performing the foot-tapping as well as the dancing numbers from the yesteryears.

This is a free event. But to help the artists financially, we are looking for your contribution in anyway possible. You can 'PAY WHAT YOU WANT' if you think the artists deserve some kind of financial help from all of us at this time of hardship.

Can you imagine a life without music? Can you stop watching the movies, series or documentaries? Don't you think a piece of painting, art or craft can give you happiness?

If you need some or all of the of the above, do understand that these are created by artists, musicians & filmmakers.

We at OK North East, believe that this COVID-19 pandemic has hit hard everyone. Somehow people are recovering slowly. But, with the ban on live shows or cinema halls or art galleries & art shops, the artists are having a tough time to earn their daily bread and butter.

So, in order to help the immensely talented artists of North-East India in a very limited way, we have started the Facebook Live Sessions on our OK North East page. The artists are going to entertain you digitally, and if you love their performance, you donate whatever you want or feel right.

We will have musicians, painters, filmmakers coming live on our page & YouTube channel. There will be live music sessions, live art sessions & discussions about art, etc. 75% of the amount you donate will go to the artists and 25% will go to our crew members directly without any percentage cut for our organization.
