An amazing adventurous journey to the Foot-Hills of Arunachal Pradesh near Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary. Travel, stay, food, forest tour, safari, river, fishing, fun, music and lot more for 3 days and 2 nights - the complete package. There are many more surprises in the bag. First come, first serve basis. We are taking a maximum number of 6 people with us. This is going to be a farm-stay with a very loving family with home-cooked meals with local wine, snacks, music and lots of stories from the past. Just 5 hrs drive from Guwahati, it will be a once in a lifetime affair - especially for people who are looking for remoteness from everyday life and a quiet but adventurous, romance-filled but romantic time.

TRAVEL PLAN

1st Day

Leaving Guwahati at 7 AM. Having breakfast on the way. Reaching Arunachal at 1:30 PM. Having Lunch. Resting. Taking a stroll in the evening. Sipping on local wine and snacks. Dinner between 8:30 and 10:30 PM.

2nd Day

Bed tea. Morning walk through village. Breakfast between 8:30 and 10:00 AM. Going to the riverside for taking a dip or fishing. Jungle stroll. Lunch at 2 PM. Rest or taking a stroll to the nearby Gompa. Hi-tea at 5 PM. Stories and music time sipping local wine. Dinner between 8:30 and 10:30 PM.

3rd Day

Bed tea. Morning walk or meditation or light yoga by a trainer. Breakfast between 8:30 and 10:00 AM. Local sights. Returning to Guwahati at 1 PM. Lunch on the way. Reaching Guwahati by 7 PM.

THE HOMESTAY

The homestay is located in the village of the Sherdukpen community in the Arunachal Foot-Hills. There are lot of open spaces with a garden. The hosts are involved in farming and one can taste the home grown vegetables and fruits. The hosts stay in the same house and guests will have to share the dining room as well as other shared spaces with the homestay owner and other members of the house.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

There are 2 rooms for guests. Sleeping arrangement is dormitory styled. There are 2 beds and 3 mattresses. No mosquitoes but carrying Odomos is advisable. One can stay in the tent outside if looking for privacy for an extra cost of Rs 1000 for 2 people.

BATHROOM

1 bathroom for 5 people. The bathroom is western styled but without shower. Buckets will be provided.

FOOD

Apart from local made wine in the evenings, the food will include local made dishes prepared by the host's wife and her staff.

Breakfast (3 days) - 1st (on the way), 2nd and 3rd morning.

Lunch (3 days) - 1st, 2nd and 3rd (on the way) day.

Dinner (2 days) - 1st and 2nd night.
